The event included an art gallery, coffee bar, restaurant and garden all in one creative space. Partial proceeds and donations with help the DSOA Band students who are fundraising for their appearance at the “Music For All” Festival in Indianapolis in Spring 2016.
“I’m doing it to support the Band department for our upcoming festival, so being here is amazing. The art is great, and I’ll definitely do this once again in December,” band junior Evan Leahy said.
On Dec. 12, the Band department will be coming back to EmKo to host “A Musical Holiday Stroll” with live holiday music, art exhibits, Christmas treats, and hot chocolate free of charge.
