The Hairy Details improv troupe held their first show of the year during lunch Friday, Sept. 20, in the Brandt Black Box Theatre. The 15 troupe members performed six theater games in front of a full house of students. During the performance, they invited audience members to shout out prompts to inspire the different scenes.
At the end of the sixth game, Hairy Details co-president and theatre senior Jaelyn Korkin pulled theatre teacher Stephanie Nixdorf onto the stage. The troupe led the audience in singing her “Happy Birthday,” and they performed a choreographed dance in her honor.
“The show was really fun, and all of the performers are very talented,” audience member and theatre sophomore Janiya Carries said. “I can’t wait for their next show. I know they will just keep getting better and better.”
