It’s Haley Johnston’s third year on The Muse, this year as the Photo Editor! She’s excited to to bring fresh ideas and platforms to the publication. She is passionate about creative writing and does Slam Poetry. This year on the Muse she hopes to show the entertaining moments that just never made it to print through the Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

Vocal teacher Kent Taylor directs vocal and strings students in the opening number of the annual Prism concert at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. “We’re on the Kravis Center stage, which is a lot different because it’s a whole entire auditorium,” vocal senior Carolyn Lord said. “It’s really nice to have family and friends and the school to come watch.”

Dance seniors Mariana Mona and Gabriella Angel posed and screamed, riling up the crowd of eager students. Their costumes depicted pop culture icons Cardi B and Offset, winning the costume contest. “So I guess I have always been a pretty big Cardi fan,” Mona said. “I have always loved her, and I wanted to be something funny and different which is usually her, which is why I brought the baby, and it kind of just worked out.”

This being his first year on a Dreyfoos bus,“I'm on the bus for an hour and fifteen minutes, after my brother graduated last year I was left ride less. Despite the length of the bus ride I'd do anything to go to Dreyfoos.”
