(L-R) Theatre seniors Logan Russell and Joey Morfogen greet each other onstage in the midst of the Theatre Department's dress rehearsal of The Addams Family. "Trying to find the right grunt took actually a lot more time and effort than I originally anticipated. I would end my days with a very sore throat from all of the experimenting with my voice until I found just the right moan. I get in character by imagining all of my foreboding college deadlines, schoolwork and everything in-between," said Russell, who plays "Lurch" in the musical. Tickets are currently on sale for The Addams Family, which opens on Oct. 28 and closes on Nov. 6. "The Addams Family truly is a family. Everyone involved in the show, whether actor or production, has been extremely supportive and has allowed me to achieve a level of confidence that I did not imagine possible," said Russell.

Vocal senior Noah Gunn casts his vote in The Muse's school wide mock election poll for Issue 2. "I thought that the Mock Election seemed more like a pop quiz than an election, and that Hillary (Clinton) will definitely win at Dreyfoos, due to the extreme liberal leaning, progressive, young population," Gunn said. Students are encouraged to cast their vote in their history classes, or online at tinyurl.com/musesurvey.

Students were asked to choose a major company or entrepreneur and present their research to their class to exemplify economics in the world. "We thought it'd be a fun idea to do something different and put our own flair to it. It just took a quick drive to a party store and $20 later, we were dressed as Parrotheads. Dressing up is my favorite thing to do. It's always fun to see the reactions people have to an outrageous getup," Hoffman said. Presentations will continue through next week.

"Today is what's called the Day of Silence and we decided that, as a school that's all about expression, it would be better to have a day to speak out in solidarity than to be silent," said communications junior Matthew Nadel.
Students gathered in the cafeteria to sign petitions and statements regarding various issues that face the community. These included a pledge to stand up for LGBTQ+ students who are being discriminated against and also expressing interest in having Dreyfoos implement gender-neutral bathrooms.
