About the Contributors
Maria Grosso, Website Editor
Communications Major and native of Bogota, Colombia, Maria Grosso, concentrates on journalism and is a staffer on The Muse. She writes for the Op/Ed section and manages The Muse online. As editor of the website, Grosso hopes to translate the quality of the printed Muse to the online readership through interactivity and exclusive content. Maria is an advocate for the empowerment of women and girls through involvement with The Women's Foundation of Palm Beach. She hopes to one day attend a scholarly enclave.
Chloe Krammel, Layout Editor
Communications senior Chloe Krammel is the Layout Editor and a third-year staffer on The Muse. She is excited to make a change to the visual aspect of the publication. Aside from The Muse, she is devoted to the Marquee yearbook and is Editor-in-Chief. She interns at M&V Magazine, and hopes to pursue journalism in the future.
Julia Horneck, Website Editor
Communications senior Julia Horneck is a third-year staffer and Website Editor of The Muse. She has had a passion for all aspects of journalism and photography for as long as she can remember, of which she’s fortunate enough to be able to expand upon through The Muse. Along with being a devoted member of The Muse, she is also an Editor-in-Chief of The Marquee yearbook. Horneck strives to be just as engaged in the Dreyfoos community as she is within the publications, also taking on the roles of Women’s Empowerment Club president, ARTS Club historian, and Project Arts Event Coordinator. She aspires to ultimately make her way to New York City, Boston, or D.C, with hopes of delving into the ever-evolving world of journalism and making her name known.
Frances Landrum, Social Media Manager
Visual senior Frances Landrum is a second year staffer on The Muse and Social Media and Website Managing Editor. Frances is very savvy when it comes to technology, dabbling in programming and coding websites for different clients. An astound feminist, Frances is a HOBY Alumni, Palm Beach County Youth Leader Class of 2015, an inductee into over three honor societies, and is the President of The Women's Empowerment Club.
Brittany Mckenzie, Assistant Managing Editor
Communications junior Brittany McKenzie is the Assistant Managing Editor on The Muse this year. McKenzie was born in Jamaica and has always had a passion for writing. This is her second year on The Muse and hopes to continue writing in the future.
