The Journalism Education Association (JEA) is holding its annual Scholastic Journalism Week, encouraging student journalists to share their work to remind the community of the importance of scholastic journalism. Today is Student Press Freedom Day, which highlights the challenges faced by student journalists, pushing them to take action and advocate for their First Amendment rights.

Arik Karim, Multimedia Staffer
Arik Karim is a third-year multimedia staffer & lead on The Muse. Within the school, he also serves as officers of the Dreyfoos Speech and Debate Team, Asian Cultural Society, and A.R.T.S. Club. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends, and reading books. Overall, he is extremely excited to produce content and delve deep into untold stories through journalism!

Isaac Wright is a third-year staffer and multimedia staffer on The Muse. He loves video storytelling and likes to produce culture pieces. When he’s not creating videos or podcasts, you can catch him working out, reading science fiction or fantasy books, or eating Boo Berry Halloween Cereal.
